Double Down on Eastern

The Jeffrey P. Ossen Family Foundation, a local foundation led by Eileen Ossen, will provide a dollar for dollar match in FY21 for the following endowed scholarships: Dr. Jacqueline Abbott Endowed (Education), Dr. Juliette P. Burstermann Endowed (Education), Class of 1994 (Students with need), Steven B. Everton Memorial Endowed (Psychology), Sophie L. Jenkins Endowed (Students with need), Andy Jones Visual Arts (Visual Arts), Dr. John Lombard Endowed (Economics), Dr. Leo Schneiderman Founder of Psychology Endowed (Psychology), Veterans (Vets with need).

This is not the first time the Ossen Family Foundation has assisted the University with a wonderful matching gift opportunity. Over the past six fiscal years, the Ossen Foundation has matched a variety of endowed scholarships, generating $350,000 total in endowment giving and a like sum in dollars that have been awarded to students during this time frame.
